Robots already started to take the jobs of humans and the first victims are people working in simple jobs with low wages (e.g. delivery, checkout cashiers). Ironically, the world’s unemployment is already high, so what is the motive/goal other than cutting cost even if that means firing more people who desperately need these jobs?
Zume, which is just a small example, a pizza shop based in the Silicon Valley in California uses robots to make the Pizza and recently Zume received a total new fund of $48M. The Robots are basically doing few simple tasks, such as adding the tomato sauce and baking the pizza, which humans had been doing since Pizza was known. So what’s great about that Robot’s made pizza? Nothing and I believe this is unethical.
